Alcoholism is a medical condition. The brain receptors are very susceptible to alcohol in some people. Her father is in jail because he could not control his impulses. Most of this results from damage in the frontal lobes of the brain, either by genetics or drugs. When the youthful brain is growing, chemicals inhibit its bio-development. Yes, drinking and drugs are a choice but like an avalanche, once it starts it takes all down in front of it. People should not imitate this young girl but try to moderate the use of chemicals. It is ironic, that this generation, with medical advances could live to be 200 or 300 years; and do they have a lot to offer in the way of compassion, love and global changing ideas. Creativity is subdued with this behavior; rehab is a matter of attitude rather than place.
So do you believe that 1. lifestyle, 2. genetics 3. food and chemicals are what age and damage our bodies, minds and spirits
- Above was something i wrote a few months ago. In a medieval forum this is what we were chatting about: again alcohol and war.

Alexander Nedic Geoffrey Uhal hey you can’t get away with calling Alexander a usurper in this crowd . He was certainly NOT a usurper . He was prince regent and heir to the throne . Philip was murdered for simple justifiable reason. Even now, that we are a much more d…See More
Alexander Nedic Kent Norton great point. Alexander was very temperate in his earlier life but as years went on he ended up probably a raging alcoholic . Who wouldn’t in that macho warrior society. Soldiers even now turn to drink to forget the nightmarish memories of war. Plus Maks liked their wine unwatered lol hard men
Kent Norton Alexander Nedic Yes, I never did partake in alcohol or drugs but i am a Vietnam vet and got a hard time because i choose not to; that is a great analysis and also hold true today. I was just guessing; thanks for the support and clear foundations of my thesis. We lose a vet about ever few minutes and even physicians, we lose about 220 per year; that is a whole medical class: history seems to repeat, and even faster in a digital culture. thanks again.
